Overview:
This one day course will provide you with an understanding of the principles of reporting and investigating workplace incidents.

Learner Outcomes:
Successful completion of this course and assessment will demonstrate knowledge of incident reporting and application of different investigation models as required for NZQA unit standard 17601 produce an occupational health and safety incident investigation.
Gaining knowledge and experience in:
- Definition of accident, incident and near miss
- Reporting serious harm incidents
- Multiple causation theories and root cause analysis
- Incident investigation process
- Conduct an investigation using hypothetical event

You will need to provide us with your NZQA student number if you require the unit standard.
