Numeracy and Literacy Training

Tailor made literacy and numeracy training for all workplaces, TEC Funded - In class or onsite

Workplace Literacy and Numeracy

When your workers can confidently speak up, listen, read, write, and carry out simple mathematical processes; for instance measuring or adding numbers you will notice an increase in worker productivity.  Improved worker literacy and numeracy leads to better worker communication and confidence, and a reduction in workplace incidents, which leads to your business having a more positive and productive work environment.

Workers need to be able to:

  • Read and fill in forms i.e. contracts, timesheets, and incident reports
  • Follow instructions or standard operating procedures
  • Work with computers
  • Write reports
  • Communicate effectively with others
  • Worker eligibility funding

If you have workers who struggle with numeracy, reading, writing, digital technology, or lack sufficient English language skills to be able to perform their jobs or communicate with staff; you may be eligible for TEC government funding to upskill their literacy and numeracy skills.
