Do you work with hazardous substances and need to know how to act quickly and effectively in the event of a spill?

This interactive workshop is designed to provide you with knowledge on the actions to take in the event of a spill of a hazardous substance.

This course is designed to teach participants about:

    Spill kit equipment identification and use
    Actions to take if you find a spill
    PPE selection, maintenance and storing
    Calling for help
    Assessing spills
    Sewage spills
    Safety data sheets

Pre-requisites:

You will need to provide us with your PGDB number if you require technical points.

If Spill Response course is held on the same day after the Chemical Safety course:
Registration:  10.45am (unless attending Chemical Safety course before hand)

If Spill response course is held on the same day after the Approved Handler 2.1.1A Flammable Gas course:
Registration:  1.15pm (unless attending Approved Handler 2.1.1A Flammable Gas before hand)
Start:  1.30pm
Finish:  3.30pm
