Overview

This one day interactive course is designed to provide HSNO Managers, Supervisors and Persons in Charge with knowledge of their specific responsibilities under the hazardous substance legislation. It further provides an understanding of the HSNO Control Regulations and information on how to manage those controls. It further provides an understanding of the HSNO Control Regulations and information on how to manage those controls.

Learner Outcomes

Successful completion of this course and assessment will allow a person to understand their requirements and explain the requirement of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996 as required for NZQA unit standards 18412 (Explain the requirement of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996 Level 4, Credits 6).
