Do you need to be an approved handler or gain insight into the role of any approved handler?


Overview

A half day interactive technical course will provide you with the knowledge of an approved handler responsibilities for flammable liquids.

Obtain practical advice to assist in the use, storage and disposal in accordance with the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act.

Upon successful completion of this course and assessments attendees may apply to become a registered Approved Handler for Class 3.1A & 3.1B, accutely toxic 6.1 & aquatic ecotoxic 9.1 classes.

Learner Outcomes

Successful completion of this course and assessment will allow a person to become an approved handler for class 3.1A & 3.1B, 6.1 and 9.1 flammable liquids under the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996.

  Identification regulations
